Almost there, try again! An overdose is always an emergency. If someone is experiencing an overdose, call 911 right away! You can then use your naloxone kit while you wait for medical help.
Remember! Naloxone is safe for all ages. It only works if you have opioids in your system. You cannot use naloxone improperly.
If in doubt, always give naloxone. It has no side effects and it is safe to give to someone even if the person did not take an opioid.
