In-class experience: Cannabis education
Objective
Health Canada’s NEW cannabis education programs, Pursue Your Passion (for grades 7-8) and All About Cannabis (for grades 9-12), engage and educate students on the risks of cannabis use on mental health and brain function. They also encourage students to pursue activities that can help them feel their best without the potential health and safety risks of cannabis use.
Pursue Your Passion and All About Cannabis are interactive, free and virtual experiences presented by two trained facilitators who engage students with activities, quizzes, and Q&A sessions. These programs have been designed to complement one another and provide targeted, age-appropriate information.
